We have learned many lessons over the last 20+ years of carpet/rug/furniture cleaning in greater Boston. We have learned that safer products and green cleaning is now the expected norm for 20 or so miles around Boston/Cambridge. This was not the case when we first started! Green cleaning products have become better and better. Rug types and styles have changed, as has furniture, much of which is now twice the size of what it used to be! Outside that 20 miles there is still work to be done to prove that our process, that has remained the same since we started - the right type of green soaps, water, elbow grease, and brushes - will take out most stains.

We have also learned that people who care about the earth come in all different shapes and sizes. We've cleaned for greenies from Yale to jail so to speak. One day a prominent motorcycle club member found our card at JP Lick's and used our service for many years. We had no idea who he was until he invited Lily and Jonathan to visit him in Laconia for bike week on Lake Winnipesaukee. Another memory is cleaning a house in Dorchester with a live juvenile alligator in a large glass enclosure at the foot of a well known rough and tumble guy's king bed. He wanted to know all the best green products to buy and quizzed Jonathan for an hour, pen and paper in hand.
